This pattern can be completed with simple, beginner stitches such as the split, back, chain, and stem stitches!

Trace or transfer the design to fabric in whatever way comfortable. You can use a lighted screen, or hold the pattern and fabric up against a window to trace onto fabric with a fabric pen.

Suggested materials and methods.
- Cotton, muslin, or linen blend fabrics
- DMC 6 strand Embroidery floss (310 - Black) split into 2 or 3 strand clusters/ bundles
- Embroidery hoop
- Embroidery needles
- Sharp thread/fabric scissors or snips
- Felt for backing (optional)
